When it was mornings time to bloom
I felt her presence fill the room
deep blue eyes and silken hair
she looked at me as if to share

I raised my brows, breathed. waited
to see what pearls of wisdom fell
my heart melted, almost ablated
as she freed me from my living hell

communicating wordlessly
I understood in tandem
she promised she would set me free
to love with free abandon

she said to open up my soul
allow for many many loves
each one making me more whole
preparing me for life above

she welcomed me through heavens gate
where two hearts will not separate
now they soar up in the sky
where enviously the angels sigh

they've never seen a pair like this
with stars and moon in total bliss
and they would trade their wings and halo
